CONGRATULATIONS – CHA YOUNG ENTERPRISE TEAM 2023!
Great news - Our Y12 Young enterprise team WON Company of the Year at the Chiltern final showcase!
Schools competing included Chesham Grammar, Dr Challoner’s Grammar and High Schools, Beaconsfield High and Chalfont Community College.
The team will now progress to the Regional Finals at the University of Buckingham on Thurs 25th May.
The team’s name is Willow Branch and they create sustainable and hand-made gifts from Willow from a local farm. Including seasonal trees and wreaths, pens and decorations. They are even “Branchin’ out” into using recycled materials such as cricket bats. Young Enterprise Company Programme empowers young people to set up and run a student company under the guidance of a business volunteer. Students make all the decisions about their business, from deciding on the company name, managing the company finances and selling to the public. Participants gain practical business experience and key skills.
