25 hours per week, term time plus INSET days (39 weeks with 5.1 weeks holiday pay)

8.30am – 1.30pm (flexibility is essential to this role, later start and finish considered)

Bucks Pay Point 2 (£20,258 - £22,766 pro rata) dependent on experience

Permanent contract, required for September 2022 start

We are seeking to appoint an organised, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to provide practical support and assistance to both the students and staff in the Food Preparation and Nutrition department. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills and have the ability to plan ahead. They will work with and support our young people in their learning and development.

The role will involve preparing the two classrooms for practical activities and distributing equipment, materials and resources for lessons. The technician will be required to order and prepare the food and equipment and other resources required for lessons and to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and safety are maintained. A working knowledge of a school environment, policies and procedures would be a distinct advantage.
