Student Voice

At Chiltern Hills Academy, we are deeply committed to ensuring that every student feels heard, valued, and respected. Student Voice work tirelessly to listen to the views of our students and take meaningful action in response to their concerns and ideas.

Student Voice represents all year groups across the school and works closely with the Head Student Committee and Senior Leadership Team. Together, we strive to make positive, lasting improvements that benefit the entire Chiltern Hills Academy community.

Over the past few years, Student Voice has already made a measurable impact on student life. This includes successfully advocating for clear labelling of food in the canteen, overseeing the implementation of the house system, improving the toilets, suggesting improvements to the school day as well as other initiatives. 

Beyond improving school life, Student Voice provides invaluable opportunities for personal development. Students involved gain experience in:

• Public speaking

• Leadership and teamwork

• Communication and negotiation

• Problem-solving 

• Representing the views of others responsibly
