Work Experience
Work placements, work shadowing, part time work and volunteering are fantastic ways to build skills and try out a certain job or career before choosing your pathway. Work experience will also help you stand out from the crowd when applying for University, Apprenticeships and employment post studies.
At Chiltern Hills Academy, all students undertake Work Experience for one week in Year 12. Our students have gained work experience in various industries this year such as Mechanical Engineering, Veterinary, Healthcare, Technology, Finance, Fashion, Fiilm Theatre, Retail, Care homes, Charities and many more.
