Staff Recruitment

Thank you for your interest in Chiltern Hills Academy. Details of current vacancies being advertised can be seen below. If you are interested in the possibility of working for Chiltern Hills Academy in the future please contact Mrs W Sanders (Principal’s PA) by telephone or e-mail. (See Contact Us page)

Chiltern Hills Academy is a popular 11-18 co-educational school, located in the town of Chesham in Buckinghamshire, with a roll of 1025 currently. Conveniently situated within the Chiltern Hills and at the end of the London Underground Metropolitan Line.

The Academy has an excellent induction programme and an on-going programme of varied training opportunities.

The staff are committed to continuing to raise achievement and to ensuring that each student attains their full potential. We have a successful and expanding Sixth Form.  Each year group is led by an experienced Academic Year Leader and these staff are supported by teams of dedicated Academic Tutors.

We have recently embarked on the next stage of our school development to accommodate growing numbers and add to our well-resourced teaching environment.   We have been graded ‘good’ following our latest SIAMS inspection (March 2020). “The academy is highly inclusive, and tireless in supporting all of its pupils and staff. Because of this, each person is known, nurtured and inspired. This enables them to make strong progress from their starting points”. Our OFSTED inspection in February 2017 also judged the school as ‘good’ in all categories.

We would be pleased to show prospective applicants around the school. Please contact Mrs W Sanders (PA to Principal). Please include a letter, CV and application form with full contact details of two referees in your application.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.
