Staff Recruitment

Thank you for your interest in Chiltern Hills Academy. Details of current vacancies being advertised can be seen below. If you are interested in the possibility of working for Chiltern Hills Academy in the future please contact Mrs W Sanders (Principal’s PA) by telephone or e-mail. (See Contact Us page)

Chiltern Hills Academy is a popular 11-18 co-educational school, located in the town of Chesham in Buckinghamshire, with a roll of 920 currently. Conveniently situated within the Chiltern Hills and at the end of the London underground Metropolitan Line.

The Academy has an excellent induction programme and an on-going programme of varied training opportunities. Buckinghamshire operates a Key Worker Scheme to help teachers and other key staff to own a home of their own.

The staff are committed to continuing to raise achievement and to ensuring that each student attains their full potential. We have a successful and expanding Sixth Form. Each year group is led by an experienced Academic Year Leader and these staff are supported by teams of dedicated Academic Tutors.

Following a capital build with investment of £10 million, the Academy  provides an excellent, well-resourced teaching environment. “Leaders know their school well” our OFSTED inspection recognised (February 2017) and further judged the school to be ‘good’ in all categories. “Staff, pupils and parents fully support the headteacher’s vision and would recommend this school to other parents”. “Pupils have embraced the school’s values and ethos. As a result they behave well in lessons and the school is calm and orderly”.

We would be pleased to show prospective applicants around the school. Please contact Mrs W Sanders (PA to Principal). Please include a letter, CV and application form with full contact details of two referees in your application.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.
