Chiltern Hills Academy A Church of England Academy

£9.32 hourly rate – ad hoc

We want  to increase our existing team of people who invigilate both external and internal exams. There is some flexibility in the role as examinations take place at various times in the year and during both morning and afternoon sessions.

Applicants need to be reliable, punctual and able to work within a team. You should have an eye for detail and the ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines. The role of the invigilator is an important factor in the smooth running of school examinations and therefore you must be very dependable, trustworthy and highly discrete. Experience of working within a school environment would be preferable but full training will be provided for successful candidates.

We would be pleased to show prospective applicants around the Academy. Please contact Mrs Mistry (HR Administrator) to arrange a visit. A Job Description and Person Specification may be downloaded here, and an application form will be found on the main Staff  Recruitment page. Completed applications should be submitted to Mrs Jo Mistry, by email and should include a letter indicating your strengths for this position.

Interviews may be held at any stage after applications are received and we reserve the right to close this vacancy once we have found a suitable candidate.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. All staff appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
