Hello Yellow

On Friday 10 October, Chiltern Hills Academy is supporting the "Hello Yellow" initiative run by Young Minds, the UK’s leading charity fighting for a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.

Started in 2016, Hello Yellow has run an annual campaign to raise awareness and much needed funds for young people’s mental health. Every World Mental Health Day (10 October) thousands of schools, workplaces and communities across the UK wear yellow, fundraise and show young people they’re not alone.

Hello Yellow is a pivotal part of the work at YoungMinds, helping them build on the promise that no young person should ever feel alone in their mental health.

So, on Friday 10 October, we encourage the children to wear a small item of yellow, with their school uniform, e.g. a pair of socks or a bright yellow ribbon in hair and to contribute £1 to help YoungMinds on their mission to support young people's mental health.
