Understanding Key Measures
To help families make sense of school performance data, here’s a brief explanation of the key measures used nationally. Together, these measures help capture how well students are progressing and achieving across a broad and balanced curriculum:
Progress 8 measures student progress from the end of primary school to GCSEs, compared to peers with similar starting points. It’s based on up to 8 subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, and others.
Attainment 8 provides a score based on how well students performed across those same 8 qualifications. It reflects the overall achievement of each student, not just their core subjects.
The English Baccalaureate (EBacc) is not a qualification itself, but a measure of achievement across a specific range of subjects. Students achieve the EBacc by attaining a grade C or above in English, mathematics, science, a language, and either history or geography.
Beyond the Grades
By the time students reach Sixth Form, their academic journey becomes one of deeper purpose and personal ambition. Supported by subject specialists and guided by a culture of high expectations, our learners gain the knowledge, discipline and confidence to achieve strong results—often exceeding their own goals.
But our success is measured by more than exam outcomes. These results open doors: to university offers, apprenticeships, meaningful careers and lifelong learning. Each grade reflects a student who has grown in independence, resilience and aspiration—ready to take their next steps with pride and purpose.
Our Sixth Form students achieved strong outcomes that reflect their ambition and hard work. All students who wished to go on to university or higher education secured places.

We know that numbers only tell part of the story. Our results reflect a wider school culture that encourages every student to aim high, build resilience, and develop the skills and values they need for lifelong success.
