Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

At Chiltern Hills Academy, we are proud of the strong partnership between home and school. Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in supporting the life of the Academy and creating opportunities that enrich our students’ education.

Working together for our students

The PTA is a friendly group of parents and carers with children across all year groups.

We meet regularly to share ideas, plan events, and raise funds for projects that bring extra value to our students’ learning and experiences.

Making a difference

The money raised by the PTA has helped to fund:

  • New books and learning resources
  • Musical and sports equipment
  • Support for school trips, cultural experiences and Prom nights
  • Opportunities such as the Tall Ships sailing experience

Every contribution, big or small, helps us to give students opportunities they might not otherwise have.

Events and community spirit

The PTA are enthusiastic participants in local events such as Chesham Carnival, the Rotary Club’s Santa Sleigh, and the Victorian Evening in Chesham. We also host our own school events, including:

  • Arts and crafts fairs
  • Bingo and quiz nights
  • Family race nights

These events bring our school community together and raise valuable funds to support our young people.

We are always delighted to welcome new parents and carers to the PTA. Whether you can give time, share ideas, or lend a hand at events, your support makes a real difference.
