Absence Reporting

At Chiltern Hills Academy we place great importance on excellent attendance, as being in school every day helps students achieve their very best. We do understand, however, that sometimes absence is unavoidable, and we ask that parents and carers keep us informed as quickly as possible.

Reporting an Absence

If your child is going to be late or absent for any reason, please let our Attendance Team know before 9:00am each day by one of the following methods:

  • Absence Line: Call 01494 782066 (option 1) and leave a message including your child’s name, year group, and the reason for their absence.

If your child has a medical or urgent appointment during the school day, please also use one of the mentioned methods to let us know.
