Absence Reporting

At Chiltern Hills Academy we place great importance on excellent attendance, as being in school every day helps students achieve their very best. We do understand, however, that sometimes absence is unavoidable, and we ask that parents and carers keep us informed as quickly as possible.

Did you know?

See the effects of these attendance rates over time

95% attendance = 10 days missed in a year

90% attendance = 1 day off every fortnight = 4 weeks of learning lost

80% attendance = a whole year of school missed over five years

Reporting an Absence

If your child is going to be late or absent for any reason, please let our Attendance Team know before 9:00am each day by one of the following methods:
