History at Chiltern Hills Academy helps students understand how the past has shaped the world we live in today. Through the study of people, events and societies across Britain and the wider world, students develop a deeper understanding of change, continuity, conflict and progress over time.
Students are encouraged to ask questions, evaluate evidence and explore different interpretations of historical events, developing the critical thinking skills needed to become informed and thoughtful citizens.
