GCSE Results Day 2026

Students, staff, parents and carers across the Chiltern Hills Academy community are celebrating today following a significant improvement in GCSE results for Year 11 students.

This year, 70% of students achieved grade 4 or above in English and science, with strong performances across a wide range of subjects. Notably impressive results have been seen in English, science, art, photography, business, computer science, performing arts, French, Spanish, history and PRE.

The results reflect the hard work, determination and resilience shown by students throughout the year, alongside the dedicated support provided by staff and the encouragement of parents and carers.

Overall GCSE outcomes have also improved, with students achieving higher grades across most subjects compared with 2025.

The progress made across both academic and vocational pathways demonstrates the strength of the Academy’s broad curriculum and its commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.

As students look ahead to sixth form, college, apprenticeships and other pathways, they can do so with a strong foundation and renewed confidence in their ability to succeed.

Today’s results represent more than academic achievement. They reflect the resilience and maturity of our students and the strength of a school community working together to raise aspirations and create opportunities for success.

Enrolment for students wishing to join Chiltern Hills Academy Sixth Form begins today.

Students seeking a place in Year 12 should contact the Head of Sixth Form, Mrs A Hemsworth, by emailing ahemsworth@chacademy.co.uk for further information.
