Child Development at Chiltern Hills Academy gives students an understanding of how children grow, learn and develop from birth to five years. Through the study of health, nutrition, safety and early years development, students gain valuable knowledge and practical skills that can be applied in everyday life and future careers.
Students explore the importance of creating safe, nurturing environments for children while developing confidence, independence and an understanding of the responsibilities involved in caring for others.
